Carbs are the new punching bag. It is so right and so wrong at the same time. Only crap carbs are bad. Fruits and grains in moderate amounts and in the right form as well as veggies, are all healthy carbs. They supply energy, lots of fiber, and micronutrients such as vitamins and minerals.
Refined carbs make them sound nice and clean like they improved them for you. NOPE they are stripped of everything good that unrefined carbohydrates supply.
The phrase empty calories reflects that the calories in refined foods do not have the vitamins and minerals to metabolize the calories. Without those minerals, you cannot use the potential energy. That is why a carb junkie crashes and has NO energy.
The typical teen is face down on their desk at 10 am after their bowl of cereal, pancakes, waffles, donuts, pop tarts, bread and jam, fake yogurt, or monster drink breakfast.
Get the point?
None of that was grown in a field, picked from a tree, or laid by a chicken.
Look in the mirror and be honest: are you a carb junkie? To help get unhooked, check out Glucose Revolution . And as you are doing that, we suggest taking Cataplex B-Core. It is SP, whole food, B-complex that will help you restore your depleted B vitamins.
The B vitamins take glucose and turn them into ATP (a raw form of energy). When too much glucose (sugar) comes in quickly it uses all your B vitamins. Literally, you have all this potential energy but you can’t burn it.
A great place to start is with breakfast. Break your fast with fiber, fat, and protein. If you do that one life hack, you will see cravings drop and energy rise.
Now wipe the drool off your face and get moving!
Ps little tidbits -Carbohydrate means hydrated carbon molecules made in photosynthesis. Fiber, wood, and starches are all glucose.
